Swanstone® Shower Walls
For shower pans and walls, do not use “leave-on” cleaning products, such as automatic spray shower cleaners or cleaning agents that caution use on acrylic, polyester or plastics.
We recommend 100% silicone only.
Swanstone® Shower Pans
This product is manufactured from our solid surface material, Swanstone®, which is a compression-molded, thermoset material consisting of a blend of polymer resins, fillers, and reinforcement additives. The manufacturing process results in a product with extreme resistance to heat, impact, expansion, and chemicals. The color runs completely through the material, with no surface coating to chip or crack.
A single threshold means that there is one side that is the entry point. The other three edges have a flange that is designed to fit behind the shower wall for a water tight installation.
You can use Swan shower pans with other brands of wall systems, tiles or granite tiles.
Granite Sinks
Swan granite sinks are considered composite sinks and are manufactured with 80% natural quartz stone making them extremely durable. They do not require sealing like a granite countertops do for stain prevention. You can, however, apply granite cleaner and polish to restore luster and extend time between cleanings. We recommend using warm water, a soft, clean cloth/sponge. Non-abrasive liquid cleaners and detergents can also be used.
The drain hole is a standard 3-1/2 in. size and will accommodate any standard-sized drain/strainer assembly.
We recommended using a sink base that is one size larger than the sink, i.e. in this case a 36 in. cabinet. However, if you are going to install this sink as a drop-in, it will fit in a 33 in. base cabinet.
The sink clips included in the carton are for a drop-in installation. Undermount slips can be obtained by contacting Swan Customer Care: 800-325-7008
Swan Granite Sinks come with a single-hole drilled from our factory but do have additional drill points located underneath the sink for additional faucet/accessory placements. The additional holes are easily drilled using a drill and 1-1/4 in. carbide-tipped hole saw.
Any of Swan Granite Sink models will accommodate a garbage disposal.
Swan's dual mount granite sinks can either be installed as a drop-in with the sink rim showing above the counter top or mounted underneath the countertop for a seamless transition into the sink bowls. Undermount installations are applicable with countertop materials such as granite, tile, or solid surface.
All Swan sinks come pre-drilled with a 1-3/8 in. hole and can accommodate a standard faucet. We do not include faucets with our products.
Our granite kitchen sinks should only be used for indoor applications.
Swanstone® Vanity Tops and Sinks
Swan vanity tops are pre-drilled with a single faucet hole. There are drill points located underneath that will accommodate either a 4 in. or 8 in. spread faucet. Additional faucet holes are easily drilled using a drill and 1-3/8 in. carbide-tipped hole saw.
Swan offers matching side splashes for our vanity tops.
The backsplash is molded into the vanity top when it is manufactured. It is 3 in. high providing protection to the back wall from splashes and spills.
Yes, the vanity top width can be cut to fit your specifications. However, we recommend doing this only if the cut edge is placed against a wall as trimming will result in unfinished side(s). This can be done with a fine-tooth carbide blade (60-80 teeth).
